Q: What style of photography do you offer? Traditional or photojournalistic?
A: We specialize in taking a photojournalistic approach to your wedding, however many of our clients request traditional formal pictures. Our clients needs are our top priority – this is your big day – we are simply here to record it exactly as you wish! We are happy to cater to special requests.
Q: Do you photograph destination weddings?
A: Yes, we are available for travel worldwide! Please contact us for a custom quote.
Q: Why do the packages include two photographers?
A: Weddings happen fast, having two photographers enables us to be in two different places at the same time and to capture two different and unique perspectives.
Q: What does unlimited shooting locations mean?
A: We are happy to photograph the events wherever they may be occurring. For example, if you should choose to have us photograph your “getting ready” shots in one location, your ceremony in another location, pictures of the bride and groom in another location and reception in yet another location, we do not restrict the number of locations within a 50 mile radius.
Q: What is an engagement session?
A: An engagement session is a portrait sitting with the future bride and groom either in the studio or on location outdoors. Many of our clients like to use these pictures for their save the date cards or guestbooks.
Q: Do you shoot with digital or film?
A: We shoot digital. The image quality is gorgeous and the post-production potentials are endless.
Q: How do you store the digital files?
A: We store your files in several places to ensure they are safe. We keep a copy of all files on an internal hard drive, an external hard drive, on DVD stored in our office as well as on DVD stored off premises.
Q: Will my pictures be in color or black and white?
A: All of your images will be captured in color. We can then convert any image into black and white. In addition to black and white we can also add different effects to your images such as sepia toning, cross processing, etc.
Q: What are proofs?
A: Proofs are 4x6 prints of your images from your wedding day for you to keep. These images allow you to decide on your final selections for your album and any other reprints you would like.
Q: Are my proofs watermarked?
A: Unlike other photographers we NEVER watermark or brand your proofs.
Q: Will our photographs be retouched?
A: Every image that is ordered as a print, or that will be included in an album is retouched. Blemishes will be removed, wrinkles decreased, eyeglass glare removed (when possible), face shine removed, etc.
Q: How long does it take to be able to view our images online?
A: Normally you will be able to view your images online as soon as 5 days after your wedding.
Q: How long does it take to get our proofs?
A: You will usually receive your proofs 3 - 4 weeks after the wedding.
Q: How long does it take to get our album?
A: Once your album order has been placed it takes 7 - 10 weeks until we get it back from the album company.
Q: Can we order prints online?
A: Yes. For the convenience of you, your family and friends you will be given an internet link and password to view and order your images.
Q: What is a DVD slideshow?
A: A DVD slideshow is a compilation of images from your wedding set to your choice of music that is playable through your home DVD player or computer. A customer favorite!!!
Q: How does your payment structure work?
A: We require 50% deposit to hold your date. Upon receipt of the deposit we will not make another reservation for the specified date. For this reason the deposit is non refundable. The balance is due thirty days prior to your wedding date.
